Lent 2024: 'The Stations
 of the Cross for Caregivers'

March, 2024

Dear Friends,

It's a long Lenten march to Easter this year ... make that a long Lenten March to Easter this year, beacause Easter Sunday falls on March 31.

Between now and then, with a lack of chocolate preying on your mind, consider praying:

The Stations of the Cross for Caregivers

Here's the 12th:
Jesus dies on the cross
Dear Jesus, one of the last things you did before you died on the cross was ask St. John to take care of your Blessed Mother and for her to accept that care. You ask the same of me and my loved one. Help us accept, and be faithful in, our vocations of caregiver and carereceiver. Amen.

The Scriptural reference is John 19:26-27

"When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, 'Woman, behold, your son.'
Then he said to the disciple, 'Behold, your mother.' And from that hour the disciple took her into his home."
