Dear Friends

Yikes! 'And for your penance . . .
the Friends of St. John the Caregiver'

Prayer Requests

Dear Friends,

We've mailed and posted the latest edition of "Among Friends," the FSJC newsletter. This issue includes a letter from a woman who wrote to tell us that finding out more about FSJC was the penance she received in the confessional.

That was a first for us.

And for her.

You can read more here.

And speaking of confession (the sacrament of reconciliation or penance) . . . if you have some questions, the Archdiocese of Boston's website has some answers.

A big "thank you" to the loyal volunteers who helped get the hard copy of the newsletter on its way! And to the one with the computer smarts to click the right buttons to send the e-mail version.

This week we're so pleased to welcome Judy L. of Wisconsin  as newest member of the Friends of St. John the Caregiver. Please keep her and her intentions in your prayers. She has promised to pray for you and yours.

Again we cordially invite you to join the Friends of St. John the Caregiver! (FSJC's programs include YourAgingParent.com and CatholicCaregivers.com.) You can find out more about becoming a member here.

No meetings, no dues. All we ask is that you pray for caregivers and those receiving care. Our members include caregivers, care-receivers, and those who support both (including quite a few former caregivers).

You can:

sign up on-line here

or call us toll-free at 1-800-392-JOHN (5646)

or print and mail an application form.

God bless you!
